An exhibition of contemporary art opens in Carlisle on Saturday 30th January.Bonavox , a Latin phrase that translates to Good Voice, is a curated exhibition of exciting new work by Cumbrian-based emerging artists. The exhibition consists of a wide variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, text, photography, video, and installation.Fine Art Lecturer Jane Topping says “Here, as Bonavox, we may speak as a group but never with one voice. We are diverse and ranging and above all free. Every one of us is curious and questioning and above all alive with thoughts that demand to be heard, seen, experienced.” A full catalogue of the work is available.
