Have been frantically busy with Forth Valley Open Studios – we are up and running now with a fantastic committee of people with a wide range of expertise including business, marketing and PR skills.
My solo exhibition officially opens tomorrow with a private viewing in Stirling University Scion House Innovation Park.
This has already had some good publicity because of the technology I am using – drawing on my IPhone .
I was in yesterday checking it and noticed one young man prodding one of my IPhone images – clearly he expected to be able to interact with it.
And thats it these days. People who consume culture are no longer satisfied to stand passively in front of an image, they want in some way to be able to interact with it.
Well, I guess we artists have only just started down the digital path …..heaven knows what the future holds.
But one thing we can be certain: it will be very different to what we know now.
And exciting!…
