I had an imovie tutorial at work yesterday (luckily I work in a cinema which has equipment there for us to use!) which has lessened the stress slightly…now I just need to get another camera from the stores at uni and continue to practice with filming. I think I know how I want the video to look, in fact, I want two: one which remains static and another which pans around the installation.
During the periods where I can’t film I’ve been experimenting with books (these won’t be part of my degree show, but will act as supporting work). I have tried to incorporate elements of the main work by using squares which echo the ones that will be on the wall, and the spolvero is another way of using the pin pricks on the larger sheets of paper. The books are titled “October,” “November” etc and correspond to each blog post I have made on here, yet are illegible.
