Market Estate Project. This soon-to-be demolished 1960’s housing estate is being transformed by artists for a special one day event on Saturday 6th March.Sorensen & Byrne have created a miniature cabbage factory in flat 58 entitled Live life like a cabbage. This is grounded in the early history of the area which provided much of London’s food. Cabbage, a universal foodstuff, embodies the multicultural residency of the site.Their cabbage installation aims to highlight the difficulties of growing food in big cities and lends shape to what our cities of the future might look like, which may mean growing food in unlikely [email protected]
