‘Cwtch’ is a site-responsive work to be installed on the top of the Black mountain with an accompanying exhibition at Brynaman,exploring the history of the 12 mile coffin route , between Ystradgunlais & Llandeusant, the local culture lanscape and livelihoods of the community. A handknitted 20 ft wide blanket made from 12 miles of hand spun fleece from local moutain sheep will be laid within one of the Bronze Age funeral cairns this Mothering Sunday following a blessing in the church at Llandeusant.T the public are invited to take part and to help carry the blanket up the mountain.More details contact [email protected]
