Into her third year as artist in residence at All Saints, Ilinca Cantacuzino continues to explore notions of Time and space using fire and paint. As before, the Dulwich Festival will kick off this new show which will hang then for the rest of the year. Ilinca continues to direct her gaze at, and explore ways of expressing the value and the brilliance of NOW, the ever-present moment. Her inspiration comes from Leonard Cohen’s words: how light, both in a metaphoric and physical sense can break through where least expected. This recent work is full of a new-found exuberance of colour.
