‘Delicacies’ is a joint exhibition exploring the themes of beauty in sustenance and maturity. Recently graduated artists Yuk Kay Chan and Henry Lau, join forces to display art that is both beautiful and thought provoking, with the ability to make a viewer hungry, yet mystified at the same time.Yuk Kay Chan’s artwork portrays the evolution into the tainted and complicated world of adulthood. Henry Lau’s surreal Oriental food inspired creatures and landscapes, remind us that food is more than just a necessity, but also something with aesthetic and sentimental values.Both artists strive to express a sense of life and enchantment and with this exhibition they bring to you a delicious visual banquet.
