The project is in two parts; the first is a large stone carving called Shoalstone, which is a spherical shape, with relief carving of various breed of fish found locally in the Swale Estuary. The second part is a colour palette, derived from photographs taken by locals of the surrounding nature, which has been transposed onto a long galvanised fence, 16 different shades of blue, which one sees as you enter Rushenden. Both artworks allow the viewer to see the space or environment differently, by framing or drawing out exisiting elements in Rushenden.
