GV Art is pleased to present a new group exhibition focussing on artwork and scientific material that explores and represents the use of our most complicated organ. The work references and acknowledges information gleaned from the ongoing scientific research about the brain which continues to develop. Viewers are invited to reflect on the evolving dialogue between how we view the brain, the mechanics for understanding, and how we unpick the visual and cerebral contents of artwork. A variety of media will be on display, from sculpture to paintings, etchings, and scientific samples of brain slices.
