Twenty seven Wimbledon School of Art MA Fine Art students showcase a diverse mix of their latest work, showing their broad range of interests and ideas. In their first group exhibition together in a public space, Salad Al Fresco, introduces an exotic, exciting, and fresh mix of contemporary art with ingredients from around the world. Part of being a Fine Art Masters student involves being thrown together in a studio situation with one’s practice and ideas chopped up and tossed into the air. Discussions and debate engage; explorations and experiments happen; interests and themes collide, and individual practices evolve. This is a chance to take a glimpse into a future art scene and experience a taste of forming ideas and work in progress from this vibrant and eclectic group at Sprout Community Arts space. Work will include: sculpture, installation, painting, video, sound, print and more, and is curated by Ian Maslen and Katie Goodwin.
