This week I are mostly bin… trying to get workman to come back and finish the jobs they started. I are also bin… cutting up old paintings to make into cards for the open studio. Some of the resulting pieces are much nicer than the original they derived from; now if I can just get £80 each for them I won’t feel so bad about the hack job. Progress.
Seems that when we take our summer holiday we can’t avoid it falling on Sophie’s birthday, so the car that is already too full with camping gear, midge killer and warm clothing, (ginger wine), must accommodate a secret bin liner of presents and cards. It does however mean that the big day out doesn’t have to involve Birdworld. A plus. So here is an Elk at the Highland Wildlife Park up there somewhere. A very cool place with other animals that once roamed around our lands. Strange then, that it seems since our visit they have acquired some Tigers. Now I’m no expert… (yes I think I can end that sentence there).
