Aesthetic Choices and Encyclopedic Glitter:
Marshall Hain awkwardly performing their 1978 record Dancing in the City in a German disco studio use a plain white sheet to occasionally hide under. Kit Hain casually wears a sequined waistcoat throughout. I would like to apply the Marshall Hain principle to my practice today.
The dust sheet. A faint glimmer.
This is one of my favourite records.
Home today and tidying my desk. I finished a PGCE two weeks ago. Adult learning. A lovely placement at Plymouth College of Art working in the Critical, Contextual and Historical Studies team. A reduced practice during this period but 3 significant elements:
Significance One:
Twitter : reduced texts. mini narratives. feint instructions.

Significance Two:
Found Space : a nice group show in shop windows in Exeter and later at Barnaby Festival Macclesfield. My little concertina bookwork of cats with nice faces.

Significance Three:
DIY 6 LADA workshop late summer 2009 facilitated by Low Profile exploring what to do with the leftovers of your practice.
I have found the leftovers of the leftovers workshop. I ask myself what do you do with the leftovers of the leftovers workshop?

Idea 1.
i) Developing writing
ii) One Faux Chandelier

footnote: (I’m being Gok’d)

I now make a connection to a tweet:
April 5th: conceptual car blanket.
Crikey, thats a lot to think about. I’ll go and find a picture now to attach to this post.
Note to myself: explore the format of double entry journalling to explore these ideas which are falling out.
I note here the lovely blue studio floor and the need to clean it next week.
How to finish a blog post:
