i have not heard from the submission yet, tho i have had a no from lux associate artist programme which is a shame, they had so many applications they didnt even view the films. my form filling needs to improve then. ive made a film on the mall and i plan to show it on the mall next week with a portable dvd player, inbetween the ica and mall gallery. outside the gallery system i suddenly thought i should ask permission and emailed westminster council, who said it was royal parks land so im waiting to hear. need to send email flyers asap. my time management needs to improve then.
putting a proposal together.
i think its good and would work and thats the best i can do. going to hand it in and cross fingers.
tho i do recall someone saying they are fed up of spending time putting proposals together and not getting them, and perhaps the selectors decision was based on who you were and what you had done before.

at least it is free to submit.
side note
went back to croydon college today, son2 enrolling on music course and the room happened to be next to the art foundation chaps. had a chat with the tutors and it really brought home (again) how it was a turning point in ‘me’ and the start of my practice. really feel quite emotional, it was their teaching and support that got me to this point. little old croydon foundation in the basement.
