This summer I will be spending 2 months in Lymington as one of The Observatory’s artists in residence.
During the residency I will be making pieces of art for my art vending machine. The machine will be situated outside my studio on the salt marshes.
It is an opportunity for me to develop smaller works than I usually do and allow the public to interact with my ideas.

For the opening of the observatory I will be bringing my mobile art gallery ‘ Little Victories’ with me.
Alice Angus, Jilly Morris ,the other 2 artists on the residency, and my self ,Katie Surridge, will all be displaying and art work in Little Victories for opening this event.
My piece features a casting I made in aluminium of a wasps nest. To coincide with this exhibition I have made a limited edition run of 100 pieces that use wasps nest which will go in to art vend.
There are 25 each of 4 different styles. Collect all 4 to make the finished piece!
