When photoshopping the images I was tied between leaving the blue in the image or the pink of the skirt. After trying out both I decided that there was so much blue I felt just the subtle pink left in worked allot better.

With these images I did have to crop them slightly to achieve the best composition. This I was able to do as unlike in the previous set of images these were of a good enough quality to do so. The photographer also listened to my instruction and took the image with slightly more of the background in the photo than necessary so I had room to play around with.
I like the position of the girl in the photograph looking out at the Abu Dhabi skyline however I feel a more natural pose could have worked batter her. As you can see in the 3rd picture there was allot of random object in the pictures frame however there was enough room next to the model to crop and get rid of all that leaving a beautiful image.

I have now managed to get a second load of pictures done in Abu Dhabi these pictures turned out far better thank the last set I changed the location and positions of the models however kept them in that same ballet gear as I felt all dresses up they did look good in all matching costumes. It also links well with the doppelganger theme if I could position them right.
Only one model was available for this shoot however just because of the change in location the images already look much better. This time round I have fully trained my family on how to work the camera. I said exactly where I wanted the camera positioned and I specified how much back ground compared to model I wanted and the results were much better.
These images were taking along Abu Dhabi’s coast line, along the corniche and at the sailing club we were also lucky enough to be allowed to photograph on a few of the boats as well. The images were of a high enough quality for me to be able to edit this time as well so as you can see from the images I have had a play making the images black and white but only keeping one colour which is something I am known for doing looking back at some of my other pieces e.g Lightweight illusions where I only kept the blue in the image.

The final set of images in this group are the ones in the common room on the Arabian chair cushions. The top two images are the only ones I like however again a foot has been cut off in the first one. The more I look at these types of images the more I am set on having an interesting back ground the ones in the last few blog posts are just too boring and are not achieving what I want I will have to take all this into consideration when choosing my next location as well as thinking more about the positions I put the models into a good mix of posed and natural will give me a good idea as to what I would prefer to use for my final images for the degree show.

The images taken on the school pitch are good images however I don’t feel they are the right images to portray the uncanny the background is to normal and boring to use. I wanted the images to be interesting and uncanny and I find those images are not right for that effect.
