the post is a little delayed, i did intend for it to appear on the 10th but the flu finally caught up with me… anyway…

after some experiments with playing the work into gallery spaces (as i have discussed in previous posts) and discussions about the work with various people i decided it need to occupy a public space in a more intresting way than it was, this is where the idea of the download came in… this also makes the work publicly available as well as have the intention of addressing the public.
the : Edition 1 part of the work consists of 10 signed, dated and numbered photocopies based on the format of a poster. i have various ideas for future editions such as CD’s, a larger edition of posters, and possiable my degree show catalogue page…

i’m in the last few days of the christmas holidays now and am really looking forward to getting back into the studio…to this end i’ve been planning how to spend the next few weeks/months
the dissertations finally due on the 21st and everything is done!!! after previsouly stating in another post that i had finished writting i actually added another 100 or so words, got it all printed, spent several weeks searching for the right ring binder, copied the audio works i had discussed in it onto disc and printed adhesive labels for these…
I’M PLEASED WITH MY DISSERTATION
I’ve made a work which i will be launching on the 10th which consists of 10 photocopies and a audio download. There will be a post appearing on the 10th specifically about this so i’ll leave this for now…
I’m planning for the up-and-coming formative assement (bold donates importance!!!) and have been making some plans for my page in the degree show catalogue
