I have 2 bird and wind drawing machines in prototype stage.
Machine 1 is a plotter. It uses a series of pulleys and levers to plot X against Y depending on where a garden bird sits. Currently all birds are ignoring this drawing machine.
Machine 2 has a suspended base and a pen attached to an articulated holder which is then attached to a bird feeder. Sails on the base encourage movement with little winds.
Machine 2 is improving daily. Making an articulated arm that raises and lowers with the base has had a huge difference. Drawings are lines rather than dots now.
