In March 2011 Coachwerks in Brighton was awarded the NAN Futurific! Bursary to refurbish a building on their site into a residency space for artists and writers. This blog follows the development of this project.

Main room in residency project now basically complete. Walls painted, new bed, sofa, table, flooring. Now onto the bathroom…
Hoopla!
The kitchen is now finished in our new residency space and we’ve made a good start on creating a porch for people to take their wellies off in. Next up… painting and new carpet down in the main room.
Started clearing out what will be the kitchen space today. Filling holes, painting, then building new shelves & cupboards etc.
