To keep us on our toes our tutors have given us a corridor to curate a show of work in progress.

As my work includes a video projection of studio experiments in building shelters against the clock, I have taken over an adjoining room as my hut laboratory for the rest of this term.

My work is represented in the corridor by my “Hut of the Week” shelf, which is exactly what it says on the tin.

The roof timbers for the ty unnos are now on site and I have a source for a large number of wooden pallets – ideal.

I’ve begun a series of small scale models of huts and habitations. These are constructed from digital photographs of existing structures printed onto card then cut out and glued together to produce new structures.
