DIY residency

I set up my own DIY residency in Chania, Crete, during Jan-Feb 2025. This blog describes my early thoughts and inspirations, and how I developed ideas into final work for a gallery show. Since then I have continued with the blog, as a basis for development of new work.

Gallery decisions

  • Fix the grids directly to the wall.
  • 20 grids in total, 5X4
  • Each grid is A5 format
  • Fix to wall using little magnets – tape one on the wall, and then place one on top of the work – use neodymium magnets
