Dover-London Return

I went to the opening of the MA interim show last night at the Bargehouse: a taste of things to come next year. With work by 62 artists on show, there was a huge range of stuff to see and my toes were absolutely freezing by the time I'd been round all three floors. Because of the cold and the eratic hanging, I was more selective in what I looked at than I might have been otherwise. So I took a long hard look at all the drawings and resolved to work a bit harder at my own.

The start date of this blog is pretty arbitrary. It does not exactly coincide with any particular beginning other than its own, and as such stands in for all sorts of other beginnings and firsts.
