Today is The 22nd of March, 2013. The start of spring and the apparent start of our project! Part of the project is to learn the skill of coppicing and the green woodworking that is involved in constructing fences, buildings, doors, etc, with freshly cut wood. Today was the day to start coppicing before the new growth starts on the trees – but alas! SNOW! Today I was out sledging with my daughter. So the project will have to wait for now and the ideas will form slowly for the construction of the houses that we will make. Instead there is some real domestic projects going on, like cooking and baking, cleaning and tidying…..well, not much tidying!
