Yesterday was our participative poetry event on the Penistone Line for National Poetry Day. We had a great time reading out all the poems we had sent us, some of our own and some classics from the National Poetry Day ‘Poems to Share’ archive.
We took a few photos and LOADS of video to now sort through. The audio isn’t great as just shot on our phones but you can hear everything including train announcements and all the background noise of the trains on the tracks. Thanks to Hayley, Joan and Amanda for joining us and sharing their work!
Videos to be uploaded shortly once basic edits done. We think our next poetry event on the train should be either in the waiting rooms and/or train station pubs and/or over the announcement system!
I also had some unused hooks from my Recyclables install in my bag and was talking about these. Lenny hung one on his finger and there was born the idea to have a travelling finger gallery exhibition (watch this space).
