George is not progressing as well as I expected! Also, I feel like some of the realisations I’ve had about the work / project – could potentially be compromised by some similar work by someone else….This has brought up some old wounds for me, and a typical trauma response – both of which this is all about. We all have the right to self expression. And that underpins this project! I feel l like I’ve been waiting to be given permission to go onto the next part of my story when I was going to tell it anyway…. Cryptic I know, but I’m sure other artists out there can relate when you see similar work/themes etc being explored by other artists. We are all free to tell our own story.
