As the date of the final exhibition approaches, the concept behind the show seems to concentrate into a solid point.
My aim with most project is to enable a kind of natural interaction between viewer and work. I intend to surpass the learned reaction in-build via the traditional institutional visit. The quite, reverend attitude when in the presence of art, which teaches one: do not touch.
In Everything Must Go my plan is to create situations which carry an obvious function that would enable all to “use” art and through this interaction create instant communities.
The basic for these element are shopping and home entertainment. I will build a living room in which -as in a home environment- personal choice dictates; and an ultimate bargain shopping experience that allows the participant to engage in a well known matter put in a new context.
