Sketchup offers such a quick way of constructing architectural spaces – a great new tool for me when putting together commission proposals. A scale plan of a space can easily be imported and traced, then converted to a 3D visualisation. Views of the space can be exported as 2D images and opened in Photoshop where further images/photgraphs, can be added to complete your proposal. The images shown here are of interior spaces in a healthcare setting. I will now be able to add proposed glass and light works to these simple spaces.
Envision – developing new skills in visualising large scale works
This project is all about extending my professional skills in the visual presentation of public art proposals. I will be embarking on training in CAD and in 3D (physical) model making. The first stage is now complete: a CAD course at KLC in London - a great experience!
