Precarious Aesthetics: on the recent work of Holly Rowan HessonĀ – Derek Horton.
So delighted with this new essay on my work from Derek Horton (co-director of &Model Gallery among other things). The essay is the final part of my now completed Arts Council England Grants for the arts funded year and also supports my A-n professional development bursary activity, a series of curatorial critique sessions with selected curators across the country.

My A-n professional development bursary is funding a series of curatorial critique sessions focusing on the work made for my two solo shows of the first part of this year with invited curators across the country.
Looking forward to the first session next week, starting closest to home, with Paulette Terry Brien from The International 3 in Manchester.
Delighted to have received an a-n professional development bursary. I’m repurposing this existing blog to document a-n professional development bursary activity which reflects on the last year’s Grants for the arts funded research and development award focusing on my two solo shows of early 2016.
