I unexpectantly had to run a Clay Station session today so plans to go to the studio were scuppered! After a meeting about some possible funding I unloaded 1 kiln and loaded 2. Eventually I got some time to do some work of my own-not very often I get the chance if I’m running the session. It is interesting that the ceramic work I am planning is very different from my previous clay work. I’m sure what I am doing in the studio with oils is making me rethink and influencing my ceramic work. All good!

The last two Sundays we have been up to London so tomorrow I am planning to stay at home and nurse my cold! Can’t wait to get back to the oils though-

As promised some images of recent work in progress. The first image is of the latest work. The second image is the first canvas I worked on-It was a complete disaster-I think-so reworked it-threw paint at it, screwed it up and jumped on it!!! It has been folded up under the desk in the studio for a while but hey…its canvas so I’m using it-I tried to flatten it but there are still some creases in the canvas-might make the work more interesting!!!
