been busy working on the Guardian Guide series. I have also been making some screenprints. read a really interesting article in the Guardian on Saturday which reminded me of a thing Susan Sontag had said about photographs and innocence. ian mcewan's article was about the day of judgement and made an interesting read. he also made some comment about times like we live in and how when times of uncertainty and great change stories of impending doom become more prevalent. i made a similar point about fairy tales in my catalogue essay for "folk art and fairy tales" the oriel davies touring exhibition.
