Had a day in the City of Culture on Sunday for a return visit on the last day to the Gustaf Klimt exhibition at Tate Liverpool. I enjoyed it more the second time as i didn't allow myself to linger in the first few rooms and focused instead on the drawings and paintings and Josef Hoffman's rug designs. it was so busy. I took my ipod so i was able to block most of the distraction out. Then walked up into town through the vastly improved Liverpool 1 shopping area. I remember when to walkfrom the Albert Dock into town was across a wasteland and you felt that someday somebody would have to do something about this. Well they have and it's so much better.

Went up to the Bluecoat which has been re-whatevered. I like the sanctity of the space. Saw a really good green space outside and used the free wifi. Can really recommend the coffee. The exhibition was ok but not really my thing, though i did enjoy the sound work with sand and the coffee cups.

Did an interview with Golwg magazine yesterday morning. Spent ages last night trying to get Jeanette's statement and stuff together for her exhibition at Galeri in Caernarfon, and my stuff for Theatr Clwyd in Mold. Keep forgetting that the group exhibition opens in Ucheldre, Holyhead on Friday.

OH! and found out on Friday that everything in my office had to be removed for fumigation thanks to that bloody pigeon! (see earlier blog). apparently we had an infestation eughhhh!

Am in the process of writing thank yous to people for my birthday but could I just say thanks to everyone who came on Friday.
