Preperation for the show is almost done, it's been hard for some of our peers to get back into working after the dissertation hand in/assessments so the show couldn't have come at a better time. Not only is it an opportunity to show the work we've been creating to our friends and family, it's kind of a time to put some of it to bed – and get on with all the new ideas we have!
It's such an honour to have our work alongside Juneau Projects. Also a collaboration, Phil Duckworth and Ben sadler encorporate video, sound and performance within their work. They explore the desire to escape back to nature in the digital age. By mixing traditional crafts and customs with new technologies, Juneau create beautiful wood carvings and woodland-themed objects. Exciting news! we have an exhibition in the Project Space at the Stanley Picker Gallery in Kingston! The Private View is on 28th January and the show runs till the 31st. It runs alongside the show in the main gallery by the excellent Juneau Projects.
So dissertations are almost in, I never knew 'italicising' some words and not others would take so long…
