An exhibition of 12 artists from the Le Chéile Project opened in Urban Retreat Gallery (at Hanover Quay, Dublin 2) on Tuesday, 12th July. The exhibition, entitled “Printmakers in Residence, Le Chéile at Cill Rialaig”, was opened by His Excellency Mr. Julian King, British Ambassador to Ireland. A huge crowd celebrated the opening hosted by Noelle Campbell-Sharpe, the owner of the gallery. The exhibition continues until 12th August after which the gallery will close for a fortnight’s holiday. It will then re-open in September for a further two weeks.
Participating artists: Veronica Calarco, Linda Davies, Sylvia Hemmingway, Pamela de Brí, Margaret Becker, Don Braisby, Eileen Keane, Alison Craig, Diana Williams, Deirdre Shanley, Bethan Hodgson and Rebecca Homfray.
