Le Cheile

Pamela brought some Bluestone which is the agricultural form of copper sulphate to Cill Railaig. We mixed the copper sulphate with an equal amount of table salt (1K of each and about 8L of water). The saline sulphate mix is a much less toxic mordant than those traditionally use. It meant that we could make etched plates even in the isolated environment of Cill Railaig.
