Work and family life took over for awhile but I have been making a piece of work for BVA open studio starting this weekend. The Torque Exhibition went well in January did not get anymore work from it thou. But that fine as It was good Exhibition to be invalued with.
I started training for a 100km sponsor after the Exhibition which as taken quite a lot of my spare time. But it worth doing.
My Daughter finished her first year in Uni She been home at the end of June, can’t wait not see her since Apirl. My son doing his GCSE. Then the both of them be home all the time this when I find it difficult to get work done no peace,
Now I have finished ready to start a new piece.
Were as the months gone, lots as happen. My daughter gone to New Buckingham University. So I have spent a lot of the Summer working lots of extra Hours to save some money to get all house hole stuff she needed . You forget how much stuff you need to set up home…
So not much artwork done but lots of thinking about it. Sent of some proposal One as the go ahead so busy with this project at the.. Some technical problems which I need to get my head around. Also still need to get my hands on some materials. But it will be it will come together.
Gratudated last week with was great I enjoyed it more this time round. Just one sad part my Daughter could not be there. But my mum and Dad come.. Sister and her children came after of a meal which was great as they knew I would miss Ellie so much..
Yesterday went to set up an exhibition in The Willow Gallery, Oswestry. It went well the group exhibition looks great.
I can’t go to PV as I am working, I am finding a bit difficult at the moment to fit things.
Were as the weeks gone? Not much art done. Been catching up on family stuff and had a great Holiday with my family in Jamicana. Now I am ready to start on a new Project. Sent in one proposal but not heard anything but I might just start it anyway as I my really excited about the ideas.
Join a new art group too. So I am also working on ideas for them too. Need to keep going so life does not take over.
