Well I have completed my MA Show up and PV was Friday, it runs forv two weeks. I have mixed feels about finishing. releave it’s all over but regrate as I have finished studying may be i need to do Phd. Not get thou….
University as put me further ward for an award. Had an interview on Friday with 3 other students have to wait and see.
i am also part of the BVA open Studios the next two weeks. So got work up in Willow Gallery Oswestry.
Well I have handed my Dissertation in, Had a two glass of Cava to celebrate. formative Assessment tomorrow, Just getting things together. Still got one sculpture to finish by 26th which is no problem but will not finish for tomorrow.
Been working on cardboard sculpture making it taller. works well just have to balance it and do n ot breath on it.
took photos of it in my kitchen as it as the only wall it will fit on with out moving everything.
Just been so busy my daughter was 18 on Friday the royal Wedding day, and working more because of all these bank hoildays.
Anyway nearly finished getting worried about leaving Uni. Hoping I do not get swallowed up by my family stuff and work. Will have to get sending off proposal now so it will not happen.
Book studio space last week and this week. Got a lot done got a lot more to do but not worrying I have nothing for my MA show. Still got some of my dissertation to do but thats coming together too. I have enjoyed doing my research and have learnt so much about my practise and want I am about. It as develope and push my prastice and research into deawing with light and shadow.
Just had 5 days off work, so I have been busy making art. or in my case playing. My dinnering room becomes my studio at this time.
I have started looking for a studio/workshop as I do a lot of cutting and sawing. Need space to make a mess.
I need now to book a studio space in Uni to see if my sculpture I structure will cast shadows on the wall then light up I am looking for. This is when I know I need to rent a studio.
