Well I got the 120 bricks to Coventry with my darling Husband Roger. Were would we be as Artists without Family’s help, I known I would be stuck I relay on Rogers help and support.
Apart from the heavy rain it went well.We install the Wildlife Stacks Saturday before the Exhibition then went down the following Saturday. Were we had the Artist talking around the Park, I chicken out of talking was not experting so many people on the Art Trail.
last weekend was going to take my stacks down but the Country Park said they would like to keep them. Great news.. More Homes built by Roger and I for local small animals and insects.
Been back off my Holidays nearly a week, While I was away, I was selected to exhibit with Out Yer Tree in Coventry, which I am very excited about. This is the First time I have been selected for any type of Art Open.
I sent off 3 ideas, one of them was the Wildlife stacks. Which they selected.
This week spent brick finding, got 132 reclaimed bricks.. Roger and Ellie came with me today pick them up. After which seems like a 100 trips to the car with them they are how neatly stacked up at the side of the house. We are aching and my hands are sore.
Just got to get lots of logs now and cut them to length.. I am so enjoying doing this collecting and this material to construct into insect homes…
Next weekend we going to Coventry to Install the Wildlife Stacks In Coombe Abbey Country Park.
A bit worried how we going to get all these bricks down to Coventry.. But we will as we always do.
It as been nearly a month since I wrote anything, wish I could write it’s because I have been too busy, but I have not just working in my Part-Time job which I have taken on extra shifts to save up for my MA fees in September. And catching up on my Housework and trying to make some sense of my home. Charity shops have done well from me this Month…
This as lift me tired and needing a rest.. So no artwork as been done but I have been thinking about it a lot which sometimes is good…
Got no shows coming up this summer so need to start writing some proposal and looking around from some opportunities.
This is the part I cannot get use too, by time I get down to writing my Proposals extra I have missed the Dates or it’s the next day.. I need to get organised some how. May be I need a diary… Or a Blueberry I can afford a Diary so it’s a diary…

I have just done my first open studio for BVA in Oswestry.. As I do not live in Oswestry I showed my work with glass artist Rachael..
As I have not done this before I was not sure want to expert. There was quite a few visits coming from quite a distances.
I created an Installation in Rachael’s garden base on a eternal knots,
I wanted to create something for Rachael she is quite spiritual and a Celtic..
I researched Celtic and eternal knots, I always use one continuous line of threads.
It’s been other busy week, worked 4 days, installed my Installation on Monday Uni Wednesday and Friday.. Best day was Monday as I got to o my work, not written work no proposals my artwork. Found most of this year I have been writing reports etc.
When did I turn into a secerarty?
My worst strenght is the written word..
