So you know when you’re a mermaid and having an exploratory swish whilst swimming amongst all things at the bottom of the sea? Supposing that really enthusiastic swish clears a doorway which hasn’t been opened for centuries and you can sense it’s magical-ness. Do you think light or dark magic is behind it? It’s lovely to paint with bright bold colours on a winters day with Storm Dennis whirling around the bay. This makes me think of another sunnier realm where the hues aren’t muted and life seems clear.
