My Art Event Dream A Reality

So Sunday is the close of submissions for the inaugural Fareham Art Trail, a large art event I have spent the best part of the last 5-6 months organising.

It is all very exciting but also very stressful too.  The road here has been a bumpy one, with promises of money not kept and a battle with certain members of the council.

However it was all worth it.  A month ago we were given a grant from the Borough Council; we have more venues than we  expected; and the quality of work has been amazing.  Including established as well as emerging artists.

This Sunday marks the close of our Artist Submissions and the start of the next chapter in bringing this fantastic event to life!
