I have drawn up some plans (very rough and not at all accurate) and between me and my dad we decided on what measurements the booth was going to be.
We originally were going to make it a lot shorter, however we changed our mind because I think it would look better more nearer to the height of the wall.
We are also going to make a block to sit on, and it will be painted black, as the inside of the booth will be black too, and the outside painted white.
I wanted to keep the space inside the booth small, but still big enough to fit larger people in it, so it’s not too cramped and uncomfortable.
I have the idea, as I previously explained to display the video of my brother talking about Zante on a monitor with head phones, so that it is more personal and intimate, rather then blurting it out for everyone to hear at once, it’s more of a one to one experience. To add to this effect I have the idea to display the video with head phones in like a booth. The booth will only be a small space, just enough for one person to go in at a time and sit down close to the screen. This will work well with my space for the degree show as I have one long wall, so the booth can be placed at one end.
My dad can help me with the construction if I plan out what I want.
