Getting excited with only two days to go before lift off!
As is to be expected there have been a few drama producing logistical hiccoughs, but hopefully they are now sorted.
My schedule is full of excitements. I’ll be seeing art-works of mine that have been purchased by New York residents in a different light, which should be fascinating.
I have interviews with Gallery owners, art activists, and a list of museums and exhibitions to attend.
I’ll also be going to see the see a record launch performance of the original art activist, iconoclast Gen. P. Orridge as well as attending a celebration of an initiation within a South American spiritual practice that has had a huge influence on my art-work.
I’m over the moon to have organised a meet up with Nelson Santos from Visual AIDS.
‘Visual AIDS uses art to fight AIDS by provoking dialogue, supporting HIV+ artists and preserving a legacy’.
They were a great resource, help and support to me when I was researching and compiling ‘The Bloody Sacrifice’.
