Two Crows
I walked around looking to see if my seeds had started to grow. No: I was probably too eager. The noise from the dual carridgeway was not so prominent and I was listening to birdsong. Cosmo also flushed a Heron out from the swamp, big birds they are.
I found a canister of what I call ‘upsidedown paint’ laying under some hedge (trade name easyline) and it still had a bit left in the bottom. I was walking about shaking it playing rythyms with the ball bearing inside mixing the paint as I was looking for somewhere to draw….’I know on the next putting green I walk over’. Next to the target was a tree with two crows sitting in it.
Perfect.
Wild Flowers
I bought a few packets of wild flower seeds…..I thought I would plant them in the shape of those rings that someone on a motor bike had made. They had done this on one of the greens which left these nice rings. Not unlike the olympic logo.
I took my motar joint smoothing tool with me, which is the best seed planting tool I had.
And I filled in a hole (you know one that should have a flag in) with soil and finished off the seed packet in that.
I still have some poppy seeds left and some woodland flowers for another time.
