Pelagic Sculpture Project, Shetland

Huge sleety hailstones the size of large peas coming over in squalls, covering the ground within seconds, this is 3pm in the afternoon, dark, not really getting light, in between bright sunny breaks in the cloud. Walked to the top of the hill behind the house, bad timing, got caught in a sudden squall right at the top, winds gusting and hailstones painfully hitting your face, Ravi the dog trying to hide from them behind me, I had to hold onto fence posts to stay upright, took shelter behind a grassy bank while it passed.
