Innova Notations.

X was bathed in an orange hue as it sat with its head in its hands under a lamp outside the Innova Centre – Vaconsoft Parkway.

It observed as the lights went out within the the platinum covered building. The sillhouette of a cleaner donning blue overalls moved around the staircase set the lights on again. She dissappeared into another room.

X shivered in the car park below.

A male figure, perhaps a security guard looked into the distance from the third floor.

The cleaner re-appeared holding a mop and bucket.

a bearded guy in his late 20’s/early 30’s left via the front entrance.

The blackbirds appeared to follow the traffic along Poineso Freeway in the distance.

A track suited balding guy in his fifties walked across the emptying car park clutching a white box.

A figure waving from the entrance of the Innova Centre – the cleaner. She was polishing the windows with vigour.

Unnoticed, X waved back at her.

The cleaner picked up her mop with bucket and faded into the Innova darkness.

An artist is waiting in Citrosa cafe on Vaconsoft Parkway – North Pointeso.

Kelia takes another swig of her flavourless tea. The whispered hum of digitised conversation coming from the gobs of suited curators and agents are chilling her to the bone.

She looks out of the window.

The crows are back outside on the astroturf chomping pixels.

She is scrolling on her tablet.

‘ambitious exceptional artist networks’ who ‘are ready to take their person centred work to the multi-national market’. The residency will be in ‘an unusual space ‘. Shortlisted artists will take to our bespoke singular commissioning process, born from an open-ended conversation with an artist offered the opportunity to imagine something extraordinary. The Vellestico agency is powered by a quasi ecclesiastical belief that artists (per se) are capable of creating visionary works which impact upon the way we view our world, our times and ourselves in idiosyncratique and enduring ways.’

She coughs splintered red pixels into a pale hankerchief before heading on down to the gallery floor.

The Pointeso Art Scene: Cemente Hub.

Vale Thomshorre discusses his relocation from Sporting City to the Pointeso region and setting up the Cemente commissioning hub and gallery.

‘We were invited to start our gallery in Pointeso not too long ago. In 2000 we had opened our first gallery in Delta prior to that regions downturn in the mid noughties. This was followed by executive areas of Novia and Bayerns, and we are among the tiny percentage of galleries with multiple locations.

I always knew there was tremendous potential in Pointeso, and I believed our global outlook would be a good match for such a diverse city. Our mission is to create an intrinsic dialogue — a multicultural, post alt moderne paradigm. We developed that idea in 1998 before the term “ vexed Sporting globalisation” was even in circulation.

It was a natural outgrowth of my living in the Tranquilayers districht but coming from the Novian zone, and multiculturalism was my reality. I wanted to bring together a global community of artists, with the basis of intercultural exchange. That is what I felt vexed globalisation was — that point of intersection where the latent energy exists.

The same energy exists in some of the art that our gallery Cemente represents — for example, the sound installations by Hemswellia Thorpe. He brings in a learned robotic technology, so that a tradition-tension exists, and that is why it becomes interesting and spiritually idiosyncratic.

With a large number of local and expat collectors, a powerful collector base is taking shape in the Pointesan region. There is already a global community here, and now a world-class artistic infrastructure as well in the form of Traitsponer, a cluster of international galleries which opened late last year.

By importing an international artistic presence and curatorial know-how, the bar for artistic presentation in Pointesan art has been raised. That is the power of having art galleries gathering together in a central hub; it is a rich resource that will ultimately draw people together.’
