I arrived in Leicester yesterday, and today is day 1 of installing and making my work. It’s a little bit like a 4 day micro residency with a private view on the 5th day. The space is huge, so my idea that I talked about in the last post should work well.
I’ve got more-or-less total freedom, so it’s a great opportunity for me to make something big and to enjoy the space.

I am an artist based in Bath. My practice is situated between drawing and sculpture, with scale and materiality being an important factor in the reading of the work. Large cement based works on paper alter the architectural space of the gallery by hanging from and across the ceiling down onto, and along the floor. Free-standing precarious constructions respond to both their architectural surroundings and to ideas of dystopia.
