Setting up 18 studios, Long Eaton, Nottingham

The preliminary round of David v Goliath is on Tues 5th. Rang the mediator yesterday who seems a nice chap and I felt comfortable speaking to him. He explained the format. I asked him if he knew the solicitor on the other side as I was worried about vested interests and old boys etc. I am busy painting for a 3-person show opening next Friday. Oils won’t dry in time so I’m using acrylics. Not my favoured medium but it’s going well. There is an overlap and most of my work is hanging in Derby. Also, I was notified just before Christmas that 2 recent pieces have been selected for the Nottingham Open. Phew it’s all getting hectic. I deliver the work on Weds to Thoresby. I felt really privileged to be asked by Frances Ashton, editor of LeftLion to propose an artist for readers to keep an eye out for in 2010.
