I’m currently awaiting the outcome of a DYCP grant application, and rejection fatigue is pretty endemic now. I can’t apply for the a-n bursary, because criteria, yet I don’t like to put all my eggs in one basket…

To get around rejection fatigue, I applied to A Space Arts Open Call – Inspirational Women Artists for International Women’s Day.

The woman artist who inspires my work a lot is Yoko Ono, so Sleep Piece For Yoko Ono was produced in response to follow on from Lost Dreams, and will be available for auction in the two weeks prior to IWD2022, with an event in Southampton for the day itself.

During lockdown, I was awarded a Business Revival Grant via City Of Lincoln Council, which meant I could buy a brand new iMac, a camera, and Creative Cloud software, so I have use of this until June, when it will need to be renewed.

So I’ve been doing some rebranding, with a new logo. My son said it looks like a luxury brand, and that is exactly what I was aiming for. My mindset is now The Law Of Attraction: 1. Ask 2. Believe 3. Receive.

I used Photoshop to produce Sleep Piece For Yoko Ono.

All work submitted is included, so no rejection!

I’m also an admirer of the charity, and hope to raise enough money for myself and the charity.

I was thinking of getting into NFTs, so I’ve reconnected with an old Uni friend who is heavily into the tech side of it (an Illustration grad!), so here is my Discord

I’m minting NFTs on the most environmentally friendly blockchain here, including Lost Dreams.

As Grantium fails again, I am hoping to earn a living this way. God knows musicians and artists alike are having their work grifted for NFTs, so I’d prefer any money to go into my own bank account…
