After much hard work, and many trials and tribulations, the LAN Alternative Christmas Market is finally all organised and we enjoyed our first day today. Everyone sold something, and all visitors (albeit not loads) bought something, so that was really good, and all our efforts seem to be paying off.

I finally found time to follow up about the proposed paid position, as was suggested by people that asked, and am arranging a meeting next week after the market is over to discuss that.
For now though, just focussing on the positive things that are going on – we have seven artists with work / stalls for the Christmas Market. We’ve already received visitors and made some sales, even without our Viking re-enactor, who unfortunately had an accident and couldn’t make it. People are responding very positively, and the weekend will be better.
Our Yoko Ono Wish Tree already has some wishes on it, and I hope it will fill up nicely as the days pass by.
