My artworks consist of a limited palette of colours, shades of brown and earthy tones, which express human condition and its relationship with nature. This argument is deliberately perverse and relegates everything to the dangerous edge of absurdity, because this is contrary to the real truth although it is in line with the human imagination. The colour palette, which I use is only the human interpretation of the nature, is a reflection in a distorting mirror, and is an illusion. The limited range of colour is related to our self-limitation. Man is endowed by nature with the senses that allow him to understand the surrounding reality. These senses are also the limitation because a man can’t be satisfied by perceiving reality and nature as it is. This condition causes that human want to change their environment to complement this limitation. Through this process a human tries to improve nature and don’t realise that is not possible, because nature is perfect as it is.
