Preparing for art exhibitions and also for Xmas stalls is a very new process for me, there’s so much work that goes into making art sale-ready I had no idea! So today I’m mounting, photographing, editing, listing, packaging, labelling, pricing and logging. Phew!
This is a loose and splashy original watercolour painting, featuring a vibrant pink and yellow flamingo. I love using splash effects to break out of the original shape to give the painting movement and life.
It’s unfortunate that the splashy technique leaves my hands, face, clothes, and most of my room covered in paint, but that’s art for you! :-)
