the first six months…

i’m enjoying myself.

it’s such freedom to make. solely and with no restraints.

i’ve completed another year of birthday cards for the southern group. that’s definitely a work in progress.

there are no limits, i find that amazing !

i’ve shot more today too. rain stopped play outdoors. an inside location was easy to find.

for more details, a question will suffice. i know what i’ve done and those in the inner circle will hear all about it.

i also have a plan for the exhibition in later august. so far the gallery seems to be run in a very adhoc manner, doesn’t particularly fill me with much pride to be included in their show. i’d much rather have been noticed by a more southerly publication. thing is though, i would have to have made something completely different. still working out how subjectiveness can be enjoyable.

for my competitiveness i’ll stick to motogp.

i have started to wonder about what happens in the room marked ‘all those that see things differently come in here’ when someone in the room starts to see things differently. is there another door, is there space to turn around to explore the room or is that individual picked on for seeing things differently?

i don’t know the answer to the question. i haven’t found the door with that sign, so i remain a bloke sitting at a computer, typing.

i am wondering about what i can leave here for peeps to read. i’m tempted to copy a friend. using another blog for ‘this is me, i have fun, i like to do this, this is what i’m doing, look-it’s fab. i’m having a great time, today, wow look at what i’ve done.’ yes, i’m concerned if this blog isn’t of a certain critical level, i’ll not be taken seriously, as the way i take things seriously is different to what is expected. wow, in the old days, what would a person like that be called?

and today, what is a person like that called? a creative business individual, i would say. good for them.

mean time, i’ve started making another experimental film. feels bloddy great to be wielding equipment and dealing with wrong shot choice and seeing how it looks in the edit. wow i see how i need that freedom and space to do that. freedom is the thing as the big world outside my door will impart itself on me to do certain things that are necessary to make it all work. heaven forbid i might do something off my own back. oh hang on, i’ve not yet put up long enough to be placed in a position that i get to make the descisions. frankly if all i’m going to do is rant about not having the chance, it’s quite clear why i shouldn’t get the chance.

have you seen the front of the independent today? an economist has spoken out of truth, not economic forecast, well that’ll be a first wouldn’t it. be like bp admitting for years they’ve been forecasting oil reserves based on guess work, wrapped up in technology. of course if i wrote that any where, i wouldn’t be taken seriously, as how the hell would i get to hear about what is said in bp meeting in the us of a?

history and the present. best stick to those. if you feel brave, consider the consecutive present, patterns are after all lovely and easy to follow.
